Nathan's Charity Walk

Today Nathan (my husband) and his brother Daniel have started a charity walk for the British Heart Foundation, they are doing the walk in memory of their father Les who sadly passed away this year on February 13th of heart failure. I can't believe how fast the six months have gone, I think of Les all the time and miss him and his cheeky smile, he was such a kind man.

Nathan and his brother Daniel are walking today they started at Braintree and they will finish in Harwich witch is about 40 - 45 miles. They left this morning at 7.30 a.m and arrived at Braintree at about 8.15a.m well I was at work today and when I got home I phoned him at 3.30pm and they had managed 23 miles so amazing I was impressed, nathan said they were really tired and in a lot of pain plasters were out.
Nathan said they are having a real laugh and really enjoying themselves, they haven't seen another person all day, they are walking through fields and countryside Nathan said he had took some amazing pictures I can't wait to see them.
Nathan had also been chased by a rather scary dog, but managed to get away (not a dancing dog) was a bit of an angry dog.
I think it will be good for them to spend some time together, I am so proud of nathan I hope this walk will help him.

Well tonight they are camping with their mum and mo at the half way stage and going for a pub diner, so nice, will put some pictures on tomorrow.
They are starting again in the morning to complete the walk another 20 miles I am confident they will finish what an acumplishment.

It's such a sweet Nathan joined the charity event ... our community need to do more events like this to bring awareness to people. Sadly, our society, just work work work ... without spending time for the charity.
